These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites LegacyStar.net, LegacyStar.com, and all related platforms, services, programs, communications, and content (collectively, the “Services”) operated by LegacyStar Leadership Development Corp. (“LegacyStar,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

1. Scope of Services

LegacyStar provides leadership development, education, training, coaching, mentorship, community programs, digital content, events, and related services delivered online, in person, or through third-party platforms.

Services may include:

  • Leadership and professional development programs

  • Training courses and certifications

  • Coaching and mentorship sessions

  • Digital content, events, and communications

  • CRM-based communications and engagement

LegacyStar may modify, suspend, or discontinue Services at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Accounts & User Responsibilities

3.1 Account Creation

Some Services require account registration. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Keep account credentials confidential

  • Promptly update information as needed

You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.

3.2 CRM & Communications Platform

LegacyStar uses GoHighLevel as its CRM and communications platform, including:

  • Email marketing

  • SMS/Text messaging

  • WhatsApp Business messaging

  • Marketing automation and workflows

By providing your contact information, you consent to receiving communications through these channels, subject to your opt-out rights.

4. Communications Consent (Email, SMS, WhatsApp)

By using the Services or providing your contact details, you consent to receive:

  • Transactional messages

  • Program updates

  • Training notifications

  • Marketing communications

Opt-Out

You may opt out at any time:

  • Email: unsubscribe link

  • SMS: reply “STOP”

  • WhatsApp: follow opt-out instructions

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. LegacyStar is not responsible for carrier delays or message delivery failures.

5. Payments & Billing

5.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor that is PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant.

  • LegacyStar does not store or process credit card numbers

  • Stripe handles payment security, fraud monitoring, and encryption

  • LegacyStar receives limited transaction data for accounting and support

Stripe’s services are governed by Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy.

5.2 Fees & Refunds

  • Fees are disclosed prior to purchase

  • Refund policies, if applicable, are disclosed separately

  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of Services

6. Training, Coaching & Educational Nature of Services

LegacyStar provides educational and leadership development services only.

  • Participation does not guarantee specific outcomes

  • Results vary based on individual effort and circumstances

  • Services are not a substitute for professional advice

7. No Professional Advice Disclaimer

Nothing provided by LegacyStar constitutes legal, financial, tax, investment, insurance, or medical advice. You are solely responsible for decisions made based on information provided through the Services.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, materials, videos, training modules, branding, logos, text, and software are owned by or licensed to LegacyStar and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, distribute, resell, or sublicense content

  • Use content for commercial purposes without written permission

  • Reverse engineer or misuse proprietary materials

9. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Violate applicable laws or regulations

  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

  • Disrupt or compromise system security

  • Upload malicious or harmful content

  • Interfere with other users’ access

LegacyStar may suspend or terminate access for violations.

10. Third-Party Platforms & Risk Allocation

LegacyStar relies on certified third-party platforms, including but not limited to:

  • Stripe (payments)

  • GoHighLevel (CRM, email, SMS, WhatsApp)

  • LMS, hosting, and analytics providers

LegacyStar does not control the internal operations of these platforms. Each provider:

  • Maintains its own compliance certifications (SOC 2, PCI-DSS, ISO-aligned controls)

  • Is responsible for the security and availability of its systems

LegacyStar disclaims liability for outages, breaches, or failures attributable to third-party platforms beyond its reasonable control.

11. Data Protection & Compliance

LegacyStar’s practices align with industry frameworks, including:

  • PCI-DSS (via Stripe)

  • SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria

  • ISO/IEC 27001 principles

  • GDPR

  • CCPA / CPRA

  • Texas Data Privacy and Security Act

Personal data handling is governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Suspension & Termination

LegacyStar may suspend or terminate access to the Services at its discretion, including for:

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Misuse of Services

  • Non-payment

  • Security or compliance risks

Termination does not relieve payment obligations incurred prior to termination.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • LegacyStar is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for Services during the prior 12 months

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LegacyStar from claims arising out of:

  • Your misuse of the Services

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Violation of applicable laws

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

16. Changes to Terms

LegacyStar may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
